August 18: Jelly Roll Race Taught by Charlene Marshall No pattern required! Fabric: Your favorite 2 ˝” strip set – such as a Jelly roll or Bali Pop - or cut some from stash (must be at least 40 strips). **Please bring your sewing machine in good working order with pre-wound bobbins.** The “starting lap” of a jelly roll race is usually the day of the race. Since we have a limited time at the center, each Quilt Racer will sew their strips end-to-end (short end -- at an angle like you sew a binding for your quilt or you can sew the ends straight) before coming to the meeting. You should end up with a very long strip.
