Quilt Shows and Exhibits

G Street Fabrics (Rockville) presents
Fiberlectic Group Quilt Exhibit
through Friday, December 29th

Fiberlectic is an innovative group of Washington / Baltimore area artists taking quilting beyond tradition. For
the past ten years, about a dozen women have been meeting monthly and at biannual retreats to experiment with new ways to make fabric and embellishments behave in unusual ways. Stitching, beading, dyeing, cutting and layering are just some of the tools and techniques that Fiberlectic uses to make their cloth artwork. The Fiberlectic artists whose work is included in the display are Susan Callahan, Diane Rusin Doran, Floris Flam, Mary Ison, Brenda Mosso, and Ann Nottingham-Kelsall.
