Uhuru Road Trip - Quilters' Quest

If you are interested in the Quilters' Quest, bus trip October's meeting is the last opportunity to sign up; please e-mail Tammie (tammietreckie@aol.com). The estimated cost of the trip $40.00, no food or drinks will be provided. Please bring your check (or cash) to the meeting. We will need at least 20 participants for the small bus; 35 participants will be needed for the large bus.
The 2006 Quilters' Quest promises to be great fun. Visit all 13 participating shops and be eligible for some great prizes. Jinny Beyer has designed this years' Quilters' Quest quilt. It is a sampler of Basket blocks in luscious colors. Collect a different basket pattern from each shop and then put these together in a quilt to commemorate this marathon event. If you spend more than $30 in a shop, you will receive a free kit for that shop's block. Otherwise you may purchase the kits for $3.00.
Shops will be offering in-house daily drawings and everyone who finishes will be eligible for the grand prizes of "Quest Bucks." These monetary coupons will be redeemable in any of the participating stores.
Anyone on a bus with 20 or more people will receive an automatic 10% discount from each shop.
