Are you one of those people who enjoy new ideas in quilting?  Well here’s something you’ve been longing to try.  Join Lawana and experiment with color blending using paintsticks, or join Jennifer using an array of beads to embellish your quilts with beads.  Lawana and Jennifer will supply the art; you will need the following materials:

Session 1 – Experimenting with Paintsticks
Materials
2 Blocks of bleached muslin 8½” x 11”
Spray bottle - water
2 Sheets 8½” x 11” freezer paper

Examples:
 Fabric paintsticks                      Stencil brushes
 Rubbing plates

Session 2 - Embellishing with Beads
Materials
1 Block of bleached muslin 12” x 12”
1 Sheet freezer paper 12” x 12”
Small embroidery hoop
Black fine point indelible marker
Small assortment of African or ethnic beads
Small assortment of heat-set beads
Black embroidery floss
Large eyed or embroidery needle
